Callcorr’s Workshop team specialise in providing high quality services supporting heavy earthmoving equipment to the Bowen Basin Coal mines and surrounding areas across mining, civil and agricultural productions. Your skills and knowledge will be utilised across a large range of road truck and trailer combinations. Due to service and repair demand has opened the opportunity for Experienced Diesel Fitters and/or Heavy Road Transport Mechanics  to join our knowledgeable team in the Mackay Workshop. The ideal candidate will be ready for an immediate start.

The Role

Providing trade expertise across the workshop divisions: 

• Heavy equipment preventative maintenance & servicing
• Full life rebuilds
• Heavy equipment breakdowns and emergency services
• Component repairs & rebuilds
• Heavy Vehicle breakdowns & preventative maintenance

Various roster options (including OT if wanted!) on ongoing work scopes providing job security.

Requirements

• Minimum Trade Qualification: Cert III - Diesel Fitting/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Road Transport
• Current Drivers Licence – HR Class (desirable)
• Forklift and/or crane tickets highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience with heavy earthmoving equipment
• Ability to plan and prioritise your workload
• Initiative and motivated work ethics
• Proven commitment to safety in the workplace
